In this amazing challenge, Jeopardy! meets Orienteering. Teams are tasked with finding specific places on a map (within walking distance)—and amassing as many points as possible by answering a series of questions. They can also get points by taking a team photo and they have the ability to help or hinder other teams—all using their cell phone.
As a team approaches a specific location, the person holding the controlling cellphone gets a message asking if the team is ready to answer a question. Once they agree to accept, they have 30 seconds to come up with the correct answer and receive 10 points. These questions can be customized to the location (“What is buried underneath the plaque that is entitled “Centennial Celebration?”), or to your company and industry. They are a mix of fill-in answer and multiple choice.
This event is great for a “walking downtown” area.
